Spelling word lists for primary school
These are ready-made spelling word lists for primary school pupils, grouped by level from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Each list is built around a common spelling pattern, such as a prefix or a suffix, or a themed group of words a child at that level is likely to meet at school.
To practise one of these lists in Spelling Stars, sign in as a parent, choose "Type words" and type or paste the words into a new list. In Spell it your child hears each word and never sees it; Learn it shows the word first. Many schools set weekly spelling lists of their own; use these lists for extra practice alongside the ones your child brings home from school.
